Internship Structure

Mentorship and Guidance

Each intern team will be assigned a mentor or supervisor who specializes in the respective project area. Mentors will provide guidance, support, and regular feedback to ensure the interns’ growth and success.

 

 

Milestone-based Evaluation

Interns will have predefined milestones and objectives for their projects. Their performance will be evaluated based on the successful completion of project milestones, the quality of work, and adherence to deadlines.

 

 

Compensation

Interns will receive milestone-based compensation or stipends of roughly INR 10,000 per month and team incentive of roughly INR 50,000 subject to satisfactory performance and the nature of the project. Payments will be provided at different stages of the project, linked to the achievement of predefined milestones. This payment structure will incentivize interns to remain motivated and focused on project goals.

Those who have recently passed out or are pursuing the following degree programs may apply –

 

a) Professional Degree in Agriculture and Allied Fields, Food Science and Food Technology, Culinary Sciences, and Catering

b) PG Degree in Diets and Nutrition, or related fields.

c) PG Degree in Social Work, Management, Media, and Communication.

d) UG/PG Degree in Economics and PG Degree in Public Policy and Development Administration for Project 7

e) UG/PG in Computer Science and IT or PG in Computer Applications for Projects No. 7 and 8.

The internship combines online work with a mandatory 5-day in-person orientation. Subsequent communication, collaboration, and project work will be conducted virtually.

The internship has a minimum duration of 10 to 12 weeks, providing you with an immersive experience in the field of food systems transformation.

Interns will be assigned specific projects that contribute to our organization’s objectives of promoting sustainable and resilient food systems. Each project will be assigned to a team of 2 to 5 interns who will collaborate on it.

Through team-based projects, mentorship, milestone-based evaluation, and compensation, you’ll gain practical skills, real-world experience, and contribute to meaningful initiatives in food systems transformation.

Each intern team will be assigned a mentor or supervisor who specializes in the respective project area. Mentors will provide guidance, support, and regular feedback to ensure your growth and success.
